I am new-ish to Birchbox so I was ultra excited to
cash-in on my Birchbox points for the first time! I got the new Limited
Edition Birchbox Finds Box, Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bellissima
and a mystery pick-2 sample pack. I was able to use my 300 Birchbox
points ($30 worth) and a 20% off code (Mobile20- can only be used once per
account) making my grand total only $2.00!!! Birchbox, you rock!
What an amazing reward point program! I have been a subscriber for
a very short time and I was able to get all these lovely goodies for
practically free! Here is what I hauled:
Limited Edition Birchbox
Finds Box:
$18.00 in the Birchbox shop ($55
approx. value)
My BB Finds Box contains:
Sally Hansen Complete
Salon Manicure in Pink a Card ($7.99)
This is a lovely ballet pastel pink shade. I painted 2
coats for a nice opaque shiny finish. I loved the formula and the thick brush.
I didn't use a topcoat, but it looked like and felt like I had used
one!
John Frieda Frizz Ease
Nourishing Oil Elixir ($9.99)
This hair oil smells amazing. I've added this to my hair while
damp to cut back on frizz for a smoother finish and on second-day hair to my
hair ends. It tamed the frizz and added a nice healthy gloss to my hair.
I have very thick hair that tends to be on the dry side. My hair
drinks up hair oils and I only needed a few drops of this to do the trick,
which means this bottle will last you a long while!
NIVEA Kiss of Care
& Color in Sheer Crimson ($4.99)
As you can see, there is a moisture core and some sheer color
in this lip balm. If you are on the go and looking to keep your lips
moisturized, but add a small touch of color this is for you. I use this
as a lip balm with a light hand and you get very sheer color (think *my lips
but better*).
Rimmel London Stay
Glossy 3D Lipgloss in Popcorn for 2 ($4.99)
First
off, I adore the name Popcorn for 2. I am obsessed with popcorn.
Last Christmas I made popcorn and spice mix gift sets for all my family
members (so they could share in my popcorn love) and now I am self-proclaimed
family popcorn lady. So, to make a long story short this is the perfect
gloss name for me. The name is a hit and the color is too! It is a lovely
peachy sheer shade with multidimensional shimmer. This shade looks great
over peachy-pink and nude lip colors!
COVERGIRL Bombshell
Shine Shadow by LashBlast in Ice Queen ($8.99)
Ice Queen is a sheer silver creamy eye shadow. Alone it is nice on
the center of the lid or corner of the eye for a pop of brightness. It is
not super pigmented alone. I like to use it as an eyeshadow base for
longer lasting more pigmented looks.
COVERGIRL Bombshell
Volume by LashBlast Mascara in Very Black ($11.99)
The double-sided wand is a little gawky and awkward, but if
you can get beyond that it is a nice alternative to high-end volumizing
mascaras. I like that both sides are darkly pigmented and not white like
some other dual-ended mascaras.
Bioré Self Heating One
Minute Mask ($7.99)
Face masks always make me feel relaxed and like I’ve been
pampered. Pretty great you that you can pamper yourself in as little as
one minute with these masks! These masks come in 4 single-use packets. I
haven't tried this mask yet, but lately
I have been feeling like I could use a little pore-cleansing around my chin and
nose area so it couldn't be better timing!
In addition to the Finds Box, I got 2 deluxe travel-sized samples of Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Spray and Number 4 Non-Aerosol Hairspray. The BP spray smells amazing! It very highly rated in the Birchbox shop. I really liked how it protects my hair when blow-drying or heat-styling, not to mention it smells like a tropical vacation! I ended up getting another identical sample in my March Birchbox so I gifted one to my brother's girlfriend. I will most likely purchase the full-sized when I am out of my sample! The Number 4 hairspray is a nice purse-sized sample great for taking to work. I probably will not purchase the full-size since it costs $30 and I don't think it performs better than the other less expensive hairsprays I already use.

My last and favorite item is Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bellissima ($22.00 with free shipping at Birchbox store). Normally, I like to go bold and bright when I am spending my own money out of pocket. Since I
was spending Birchbox points, I thought I would try a higher-end nude-y pink
shade of lip color. I was very tempted to get the bold and
popular bright red Beso, but what better time to try a more neutral shade and
not have to drop a bunch of my own money? I am very happy with my choice.
Bellissima is a beautiful light peachy pink shade, perfect for work or
even a date-night! This formula has some major lasting power! This stuff doesn't budge even after several hours! It is a very matte formula, so if you like a more glossy lip you should apply a clear/ or similar color gloss over it once it dries. My new Rimmel Stay Glossy in Popcorn for 2 looks amazing paired with Bellissima. I highly recommend Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick! I will need to add more of these lippies to my collection...

If you are interested in receiving 4-5 deluxe to full-sized
personalized lifestyle samples, you can sign-up for Birchbox here. Just a heads up, there is usually a short waitlist for this
service because it is so popular!
Did you also get the Birchbox Finds Box? Let me know what you thought of it or if
Birchbox should bring it back (it is currently sold out online). What goodies have you used your points on in
the Birchbox shop? Any that you have
your eye on? I am looking to cash-in
again soon and would love suggestions!
