Physicians Formula Super BB Freebie

To my surprise, I found a padded yellow envelope in my mailbox just after posting my latest freebies.  I was delighted to find inside my yellow package, the new Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Compact Cream!  Yay!  They sent me their BB powder not too long ago, which I absolutely LOVE! Now, I have their Super BB Compact Cream to complete the duo!

I am loving the cute packaging.  It comes in a nice sleek compact, with a mirrored under compartment for a makeup sponge applicator.  It claims to be the first ever compact BB Cream; it glides on effortlessly and instantly melts into skin, delivering a smooth and flawless finish, with protecting with SPF 30.  I got the shade light/medium.  I am excited to give it a try and let you all know if I love it as much as their Super BB powder!

Lately, I have been adoring Physicians Formula.  They have a great range of products that are affordable and you can find them at most drugstores.  Not to mention they have some great shades for pale-faced gals like myself.  If you like their Facebook page, you can be part of their great weekly promotions, including Win It Wednesdays and Freebie Fridays.  Keep your eyes peeled because often there are full-sized new product giveaways (which is how I go this lovely gem)!  So head over to Facebook, like Physicians Formula and try your luck!

February & March Freebies

These past several weeks have been FANTASTIC for freebies!  I got a lot of full-sized and deluxe samples, which is always exciting!  I get many samples because I subscribe to Freeflys (and follow them on Facebook) for up-to-date news on giveaways and current freebies being offered on various product websites/ Facebook pages.  To sign up for Freeflys you can go here.  I also belong to PINCHme sampling service.  PINCHme is a free sampling program that connects subscribers to free samples that may be relevant to them.  They usually offer new samples weekly on Tuesdays at 12pm EST.   Their sample offerings are in limited numbers so you have to be quick to select them once the products are released to the public.  To sign up for PINCHme go here.

Some full-sized products I get for free by “stacking” up coupons.  For example, at Target and Rite-Aid you can use their store coupons and manufacturer’s coupons together at the same time (called coupon stacking)!  Twice the savings!  If you do your research, you can find sales and stack coupons to get products free or get paid the extra, or “overage”.  There is an abundance of both Target and Rite-Aid store coupons you can print right from their store websites and you can usually find several coupon flyers (called inserts) inside your weekend newspaper.  Here is a list of my freebies from the past 4 weeks.

Battle of the March Boxes: Birchbox vs. Ipsy

Happy St. Patrick's day everyone!  I had a lovely surprise today.  A lovely shiny pink envelope and bright pink box arrived in the mail! Both my March Birchbox and Ipsy Glam Bag came today.  Can you say great mail day?!

I have been subscribed to Ipsy for a little over a year and absolutely love it!  It is like receiving a monthly magazine except you get an adorable makeup bag with 4-5 deluxe to full-size makeup and beauty products each month.  It costs $10/month and you can sign up to pay monthly or yearly.  I would say there is usually about a month wait to get your first bag.  Although, they frequently let subscribers bypass the waitlist if they share or post something on their Facebook wall.  Each month you can review your products and refer your friends to join for points.  You can later cash in your points for great rewards.  Last month I cashed in my points for a full-sized Beauty Blender and deluxe sample of Blender Cleanser!  If you are interested in subscribing to Ipsy, you can use my referral link here.

This month, Ipsy started a new artist series featuring Klari Reis' artwork on the March Destination Beauty Glam Bag.  Her artwork was inspired by the "Street Anatomy" of San Francisco, CA (home of Ipsy headquarters), but I think it looks a bit like cells under a microscope.  You can decide for yourself. Either way it was brightly colored and cute.

Birchbox is a $10/month lifestyle beauty sample subscription box.  You can pay monthly, yearly, or gift subscriptions are available.  I have been subscribed to Birchbox for four months.  I get a variation of products ranging from shampoo to makeup to tea to hair tools.  I love Birchbox's reward program.  you You can review your monthly box products for 10 points a piece, make purchases at the Birchbox store and get accrue 1 point for each dollar you spend, or refer friend to subscribe for 50 points each.  Every 100 points is worth $10 at the Birchbox store.  The store is loaded with great brands and products that get sampled each month and some extra exclusive items.  I just made a purchase using my Birchbox points and I will share that with you all soon!  If you want to join in on the Birchbox fun, you can use my invitation link here.
